Thomas Peyton Steger, b. March 15, 1852.
Six Steger brothers left Moscow, Tennessee for Bonham in 1881. They settled in the county where each contributed to the town as merchants, lawyers, opera house owners and mule buyers.
Thomas Peyton Steger became a lawyer in Bonham in the firm of Thurman, Steger and Rayburn. Their office was located on the north side of the Fannin County Square. His wife was Alice Scales Steger (1855-1931)
